Hello.

Went to see Fast and the Furious 5 – as it’s called here in Denmark. I chose a theater that had big screens, so the experience could be something worth. So went to CinemaxX in the same building as Fisketorvet, which is just a big shopping mall together with a theater. The movie theater has some of the biggest screens in Copenhagen, which was just perfect.

In the movie itself, there were a lot of action – more than the other movies. Explosions going on all the time. But it was cool and fun. I’ve been waiting so long for this movie, that I could nothing else than love it. It was nice to finally (or what I thought would be) an ending of the whole story. Many have said that Roman Pears (played by Tyrese Gibson) totally “stole the show”. I kind of agree with that. His comeback from the 2 Fast 2 Furious was a hit, that also brought some humor into the action movie.

The whole idea of putting all the characters from the other past movies, together in one – is just an amazing thought. They should do that in more movies *cough* I Am Number Four.

Both love and hate movies, you’ve to go home and think about the meaning of the details – that afterwards gives you headache, because you cannot find the answer. Complicated, I know. But If you’ve seen the movie you know exactly what I mean. Which leads me to the next point.

First of, (for those who has actually seen the movie) after the ending scene where Brian and Vin was about to go racing and the (what I thought was) credits show thingy with racing cars. So everybody in the cinema went out of the hall – so we did too.

But but but. When I got home to research a little, I saw someone writing about a “secret scene” from the movie – that apparently were happening after the credits. How should I know? Well, that still annoys me a bit, because it was definitely the most important scene in the movie. Luckily I could see it in a very-bad-quality-version on Youtube.

To the exiting news: That last-last ending scene… Was the introduction to the next Fast and the Furious 6 movie! Can you believe it?

The director Justin Lin commented that “Fast and the Furious 6 is 100 % going to happen” because, “People want to continue this journey” – which I totally agree with. I was just totally shocked – I guess because I hadn’t seen that one coming up.

The Fast Five ending just seemed like the total ending on the storyline. But of course I see that after the last-last ending scene, there is definitely a lot of questions to be answered. The bad news is that we’ll all have to wait until 2013 to the 6th movie to come out. I really feel like 2013 is going to be a great movie-year, since so many good new movies is coming out. With that I mean Fast and the Furious 6 and Angelina Jolie’s Cleopatra.

Now, back to the Fast Five. I feel like it became an action movie instead of racing – which was also cool, but let’s keep the focus on the cars.

Absolutely favorite car from the movie

This is my absolutely favorite car from Fast Five. It’s a Koenigsegg CCX – a Swedish car and it came out in 2006. It appears in one of the last scenes – where Tej (Ludacris) and Roman Pearce (Tyrese Gibson) meets after all that happened, in these fantastic cars.

Kay, that’s all for now. Hope you enjoyed reading and go and see Fast Five! I bet you’ve never seen some many cars being wrecked in one single movie. See ya.

Love,

Juliana ♥
